Supporting local business “Creative Minds Learning Center”
Last month we were glad to support our friend Maria Vaccaro Bithell and her work in our community through Kidz on Stage/Dixie Dance. We were gratified by your response and have decided to continue this trend for the next few months by highlighting other local businesses worthy our your support. We are grateful for your support that has seen our efforts rewarded by continual success and in these days of stress over our economic conditions, we all have an obligation to assist and aide those who are making a difference. So if you know of a local business or enterprise that we should high light, let us know.
This month we want to tell you about our neighbors at “Creative Minds”. Without a doubt this has become my favorite place to take my 2 year old grandson to engage in play and interaction with other kids. Patterned after discovery museums, this facility is loaded with sections designed to stimulate imagination. There are sections where the child can pretend they are Stahlei farm, Lin's Supermarket, an auto shop, dress up on the Tuacahn stage , and a Pirate ship just to name a few examples. Since this is all indoors, it's a great way to beat the heat or have something to do on a blustery day. Please check them out on facebook.
